Benelli 250 GP scale model motorcycle

Pere TarragĂł has just completed another of his exquisite scale models, this one is a Benelli 250 4 cylinder GP bike. The photo above is one of those where you look at it and think, "Hmm ..., nice bike," then you see the piece of candy in the foreground.

The model is 15 3/4 inches long and weighs 5 1/2 pounds. Brakes, suspension, levers, all work, 618 hours to produce it.

I featured his work before and this looks to be up to his usual extremely high standards. Very nice!

Absolutely beautiful. I may be dating myself, but does anybody remember that mouse from that one movie that could make his model motorcycle move by “imitating” the sound? He never had anything as special as these.

Very nice work.

While it would be easier to wrap a brick in an oversized cellophane wrapper, I imagine it would be much more expensive to get ahold of the full-size bike.

Freeman, you’re thinking of Ralph the mouse from Beverly Cleary’s “The Mouse and the Motorcycle.” I believe a couple books from that series were made into TV specials. The “Stuart Little” movie might have had something similar.

FREEMAN,
His name was Ralph, and he said “Pbpbpbpbpbpbpbpbpb” to make his bike go. But not until he put on his helmet (ping pong ball cut in half).

Yeah, I’m old, too.

This guy should think about finding a girlfriend.

Wendell – with how good this guy is with his hands, I’ll bet you he has women lining up.

Great Work, indeed.
Look also at the Bosica website.
He does great jobs, mainly for Cars, but some bikes also
For example a Laverda
