Home made jet engines

This post has little to do with motorcycles but I think it’s a great example of what a creative tool guy can do in his shop. Mark Nye has a business building attachments for heavy equipment, a good business, pays the bills and keeps him in enough tools and shop equipment to enable him to build stuff like turbojet engines out of truck turbochargers. Gee, I like that. His website for Nye Thermodynamics Corporation has a lot of images and info from his projects and illustrates what time, tools and ingenuity can lead to. An understanding wife helps, too.
