Wrenchmonkees, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, is another one of those shops turning out some very nice understated customs. Starting from a wide variety of base bikes, CB750s, Harley Sportsters, just about any standard bike really, they add lots of work and ideas to come up with bikes lots of us would love to ride. They have the no chrome, no flashy paint look that emphasizes the bike and shows off the work of the builder.
These bikes remind me of the work of Bratstyle or Deus Ex Machina and similar outfits. If you dig through their site a bit, you’ll find quite a few interesting rides and maybe some ideas for your own bike. Very nice.

Everything on this bike looks great, except the front caliper brakelines coming from the front of the frame. They are just floating near the back of that open tire.
HoughMade says
I love that style. I have a thing for the down-turned bars and no plastic to be found- but plenty of metal.
PaulN says
Now THAT is an interesting looking bike! I really like the solid wheels. I wonder where you get such an item?
mark says
The solid wheels and big balloony whitewall tires are the only things I don’t like about that bike. Nice work; I just think spoked wheels and slimmer tires would look better.
nortley says
Nice clean machine, but I hope those tires are just for show.
Kenny says
Have to agree with mark, though to be honest I never envisaged white wall tires and solid wheels on cibbie custom.
The only real constructive criticism I have is the rear swingarm. It just doesn’t look beefy enough to live with the rest of the bike.
Dual exhausts instead of the shorty? Or would that ruin the whole minimalist “more is more” look.
Kenny says
Whoops just realised its wearing 2 shorties.
JR says
“Yes I would like a machine”…”Ah yes sir, a machine for how many?”…”Just one tonight, thank you.”…”We’ve got just the thing…”
todd says
I wonder if the “solid” wheels are just spun aluminum covers over the spokes. That would be easy enough. Looks cute.

Nice set of bikes on their site. Chrome is definitely overrated.
Paulinator says
True beauty. It shines from within. (Gag!)
Really nice work.

Oil Bag? Unless the oil is in the frame it gonna be an issue.

There are some great write-ups (and images) of Wrenchmonkees bikes on the Bike EXIF website:

Oil tank? I wonder what those copper lines running up from the engine behind the kickstarter, back under the seat, then up to the seat cowl do…..
Ry_Trapp0 says
absolutely love the front end, absolutely despise the tail section. i never have liked the way classic japanese bikes always seem to have a big blocky tail section. the wheels and tires look great too!
David says
Wheels are harley davidson. I just cant get enough of these simple, clean, well built customs. It is a great way for anyone with shallow and not so shallow pockets to build a unique bike and do it the old fashion way, you, maybe some friends and some wrenches
jordan birchbark says
absolutely my fav-o-rite cb750 to date. i’ve been inspired
Thomas Carpenter says
i love it. How much?
steve says
Pretty neat except for the wheels. Lots of weight there. I do however like tubless rears “cause thats the one that gets the nail. The bike is so simple I have to ask why most would buy one and not build one. I am old school and find most everyone knows little about what they ride. What a shame!
Claus Jakobsen says
like the style, not the price 35.500$ for a 750…
DJL says
I like the sportster. Very simple- looks close to a bobber. Rugged enough to ride~
Dan says
It’s such a shame that this thing is $35,000.
