Wheels Through Time – Women & Motorcycles: 1905-1955

By Paul Crowe

Wheels Through Time MuseumThere’s a new exhibit opening soon at the Wheels Through Time museum in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. It’s called Women & Motorcycles: 1905-1955 and according to the note I received it:

will honor the women and motorcycles from the years 1905-1955. Along with a pictorial display, special orginal artwork from Michelle Wynn of Wynn Art Studio will be on display. Michelle is a graduate of San Francisco, CA’s Academy of Art, and has been riding her own motorcycle since May 2004. Michelle will be present for the opening of this event, and will have posters of her artwork available for sale and autographing. Opening of the exhibit will be 22 & 23 April, 2006. This exhibit is scheduled to be on display in the museum for one year.

I wasn’t familiar with Wheels Through Time so I stopped by the website and it looks like a really nice place to visit. They have over 250 antique motorcycles and cars plus a large collection of memorabilia. If you’re in the North Carolina area or if you might be going through there, I’d seriously consider scheduling some extra time to check it out.
