Ultimate Garages

By Paul Crowe

Ultimate GaragesA couple days ago I was reading Ultimate Garages and it makes for some nice cold weather contemplation. Phil Berg takes you through some of the best garages put together by some of the country’s most committed motorheads. Some are collections resulting from cubic dollars but even there, it’s not always the same. Jay Leno’s Big Dog Garage is included and he has to be the motorhead I wish I had the chance to be. Lots of space for cars and motorcycles but lots of tools, too. He really likes the technology from old to new and doesn’t do the grand facade of some of these buildings but focuses on neat machinery. Steam cars, turbine motorcycles, Ferraris and Duesenbergs, gotta love it.

Anyway, it’s a nice diversion for the chilly weather and let’s you imagine what you would do if you were in similar circumstances.
