TVR buying Benelli

By Paul Crowe

The Italian maker of superbikes and scooters and who recently has been trying to get moving again with bikes like the Tornado, Benelli is reportedly being purchased by TVR, the British sports car manufacturer. The Russian owner of TVR is said to be planning the use of the British plant for making motorcycle parts. Benelli had the other straight six engine back in the ’60s when the CBX got most of the press.

I like this, the Russian owner of the British firm buys the Italian manufacturer. Neat.
