Ludovic Lazareth, the French custom builder who has put together some superb bikes I’ve highlighted before, has come up with a limited edition conversion kit to transform the Suzuki Hayabusa into what looks a lot like the much rumored and highly anticipated, Suzuki B-King. The German magazine, Motorrad, has a long series of photos from what seems like a road test or at least a very nice demo ride. They say the conversion will be limited to 50 kits.
Lazareth has one of these on his site in an earlier version, having a single sided swingarm which this kit does not have (on further digging, he has one that appears much like this one, too). No price is mentioned that I could see, however full details are supposed to be in Motorrad’s print edition. Perhaps some of our German readers could fill in the details if they have an issue handy?
If Suzuki won’t build it, I guess it’s up to the custom builders. Just think, a Hayabusa in a nice sit up package. I certainly believe Suzuki knows what a winner this would be and they may have one ready to go but I have no knowledge of that. In the meantime, order your kit.
