Segway XT off road transporter

By Paul Crowe

Segway XTThe Segway was pretty cool when it came out, self balancing and all, and it got lots of attention. After a while, the hype died down and at least one inventive fellow, built his own from off the shelf parts. So what do they do for a new model? The Segway XT, an off road version, has been introduced. Now I don’t know about you but I never pictured the Segway as the ideal off road vehicle, big knobby tires or not. This is one of those answers looking for a question. It’s interesting but it remains to be seen if it will actually sell. They also introduced a golf transporter that carries you and your bag down the fairway to remove that little bit of exercise you might get while you’re playing “pasture pool” though this may be a better idea from a product standpoint.
