You might remember the Revolution Motorcycles RV100, a bolt together frame concept that replaces the usual welded steel or aluminum frame with precision cut panels that are held together with bolts. Everything mounts to the frame or engine just like a regular bike but the overall appearance is definitely different.
Martin dropped me a note to say his first engineering mockup was for sale. His design has been changed a bit and he thought this one might make a nice display for someone, maybe a waterjet company that wanted to show what their machines could do or just an interesting motorcycle oriented display of some type. This mockup is completely non-functional and only for display but someone may get a little use from it.
I asked the obvious question to see if he was still moving forward with this concept and he said he was, in fact two motorcycle magazines will be running articles on the bike and selling this one will help raise a few dollars toward a real runner. So if you need a little conversation starter in the corner of your shop or showroom, this might be just the ticket.

Is there a reason (safety?) why this can’t be a working bike, or wasn’t made to be a running bike. The original article never said the bike wasn’t a runner.

glad to hear it’s still moving forward. this is one of the coolest ideas for a custom bike/frame i’ve ever seen. too bad i’m flat broke. . .
