Ravelco vehicle anti theft device

By Paul Crowe

Ravelco Anti Theft deviceThis is a nice variation on the annoying sirens and horns in the parking lot. The Ravelco anti theft device is a multiholed plug installed in your car, and I would think it would work in motorcycles, too, that has a matching dongle with pins to fit into the holes. All sorts of circuits are interupted by the wiring going to the plug, fuel pump, computer, ignition, etc., and until the plug is inserted, the vehicle is dead. You get two dongles and a code to order more if you lose one or both (bad idea). The company says no car with this device has ever been stolen. Of course, motorcycles are subject to the lift into pickup variety of theft but the Goldwing segment of the market might find this helpful.
