Nicky Hayden takes the pole for tomorrow’s U.S. MotoGP race at Laguna Seca. Hayden was consistently the fastest rider on the track and at one time during qualifying was over 1 second faster than the next fastest rider. Hayden turned in a 1:22.67, the only rider in the 22’s. Rossi is second with a 1:23.024. Barros had a 1:23.312. The lineup is then Bayliss, Edwards, Hopkins, Biaggi and Checa.
Nicky Hayden has a great opportunity to do very well tomorrow and we wish him the very best. It would be very nice to see him on the podium.
