Motorcycles most likely …

By Paul Crowe

Here are a couple of motorcycle lists you may not want to be on, motorcycles most likely to be stolen and most likely to be crashed. Of course they have their opposites as well with least likely in both categories.

Most stolen:
Suzuki GSX-R series
Yamaha YZF series
Honda CBR series
Suzuki Hayabusa
Kawasaki Ninja series

Least stolen:
Suzuki Savage
BMW R1200C
Honda Rebel Series
Honda Shadow Series
Yamaha V-Star

Most crashed:
Suzuki GSX-R Series
Kawasaki Ninja Series
Suzuki TLR
Yamaha YZF Series
Honda CBR Series

Least crashed:
Yamaha Virago Series
Honda Rebel Series
Suzuki Savage
Harley-Davidson FXR
BMW R1200C

They don’t say how these most and least likely numbers relate to sales figures which would be interesting although some of these rankings would be about where you think they would be for the type of bike they are, GSX-R high up on the crash list for instance. Whatever the case, try not to add to the “most” lists.
