Some of you live where you can ride year round but those of us who live in the northern U.S. are approaching that time of year when the weather turns cold and our bikes get put away until Spring. That’s all the more reason to take maximum advantage of the riding weather we still have, and if you live in the northeastern U.S., this can be the absolute best riding all year. The weather is a little cooler so you’re not sweating inside your jacket and helmet and the leaves turn color. An autumn ride through areas where the trees have turned can almost take your breath away.
I added a section to The Kneeslider Bookstore called Roadside Attractions. You can find books on old gas stations and gas pumps, old roadside diners along with a section just on motorcycle travel. Very neat books to look through but some just get your juices flowing and you’ll want to set some time aside for a ride. Riding weather won’t last forever, get some ideas and get out there.
