Monterey Classic Bike Auction 2006

By Paul Crowe

Monterey Classic Bike AuctionThe Monterey Classic Bike Auction will be returning July 20-22, 2006, held during the weekend of the U.S. Grand Prix, which runs July 22nd. If you’ll recall, the auction last year had some extraordinary bikes on the block, however, we never were able to determine how the auction went off, how many of the bikes sold, for how much or anything else for that matter. At least one bike, the Proton MotoGP bike was not sold and in fact was later used by the Kenny Roberts team as a backup.

This year’s auction will most likely have much the same sort of lineup, they are taking registrations for the auction now. Perhaps this year we’ll hear more of the results.
