Martin Conquest trike

By Paul Crowe

Martin Conquest trike for the disabledWhen I mentioned trikes the other day, I said I had a hard time figuring out why people would want them and several readers pointed out a lot of older or handicapped riders found them to be a way to keep riding. That’s an excellent point and just to emphasize the fact, here is the Martin Conquest, specifically built for the wheelchair rider. The wheelchair rolls right in and off you go.

Built on a BMW platform, it features an automated ramp in the rear for access. All controls are hand mounted, it is designed for those paralyzed below the waist. This is a nice bit of engineering.
