If you’re looking for a 70s era muscle bike, you may have an opportunity to pick up one, or more, in what seems to be showroom condition. The seller describes them as “mint,” a word so overused, often when the bike is nothing of the sort, you might roll your eyes, but these look like they live up to that description. Some of the bikes listed so far are a 1979 Honda CBX, a 1972 Kawasaki 750 H2, a 1979 Suzuki GS1000S Wes Cooley, even a 1977 Harley Davidson XLCR 1000 Cafe Racer.
It’s not unusual to see someone with nice examples of any one of these, but this seller has a lot of them and he’s selling a large part of the collection, those he says he doesn’t “have the time, desire or room to take with me” due to relocation.
Some are perfect unrestored examples, some are restored to the same high standard. Either way, if you’ve been thinking about adding one of these particular models to your collection, you should take a look at what he’s selling. It appears he’s going to have several more listed soon. Your search may be over. Very nice.
All auctions are over.

Where is the collection kept? I live in South Africa but would be very keen to view. I travel very easily and at short notice

Gerry – it looks like the seller is in Woodbridge Virginia USA. I grew up in South Africa and that collection brings back some memories. Had a Suzuki GS my mates rode most of the motos in those pics, the Wes Cooley, CBX, Kawi Triple 500, Z900 and even a CB900 Bol D’Orr F2 and later the very rare ’81 CB1100R.
