The MotoGP is in Germany this weekend but next weekend the circus comes to the U.S. and there’s a lot going on.
Nicky Hayden will still be in the points lead no matter what happens in Germany which makes his home track performance that much more exciting.
The race will be covered live on SpeedTV with coverage at 5PM eastern, 2PM pacific.
ABC will be have a taped one hour show, on July 30th, covering the race for the first time on U.S. broadcast television which may expose a lot more potential fans to MotoGP.
The AMA Superbikes will be running as well as all of the other classes, Superstock, Supersport and Formula Xtreme.
The Monterey Classic Bike Auction will be run over the weekend with a really nice selection of bikes, including Loris Capirossi’s winning MotoGP Ducati and a whole lot more.
Michael Czysz will be unveiling his new MotoCzysz race bikes.
The crowd will be huge and it should be quite an event. The U.S. definitely supports racing when given the chance, I hope this keeps it coming back for many years into the future.
