Just noticed what seemed like a familiar profile on an eBay offering and sure enough, it was a Kawabusa, but this time it’s the Kawabusa 3 Turbo Edition. Norm Wilding built two previous versions, the original Kawabusa and Kawabusa 2, while this continues the obvious model numbering sequence at Kawabusa 3, but he added a turbo.
The original Kawabusa and number two as well, has some unused space behind the engine and what could be better than filling it up with a turbo?
Norm Wilding has done an excellent job converting the original ZRX 1200s into these really sweet Hayabusa powered resto-mods. Hayabusa power in a nice and light sport standard, guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
The bike is currently owned by an individual who, it appears, purchased it after seeing it at the Austin Handbuilt show in 2022 and has a total of only 125 miles on it because he’s had it on display in his living room ever since.
If you’re looking for a classy and professionally built, very high performance custom, this may be your chance. It’s for sale on eBay.
