When Ducati introduced the MH900e, it was significant for being the first bike where everyone got to place their order over the Internet. Everyone had the same chance to grab one from the limited production run. It was a great marketing idea. Unfortunately, although the bike looked great, it got mixed reviews and some owners have found the bike less than they had hoped for.
One New Zealand owner, wasn’t sure what to do with it but at least he had his trusty Monster to ride while he thought about it. Then one day, the Monster, during an otherwise uneventful ride, caught fire and burned. So he now had a toasted Monster and an MH900e he disliked. Some guys get all depressed when things like that happen, others start thinking, what if … ?
The first thing he did is strip off all of the MH900e’s parts he didn’t like and then slowly began remaking it into something more to his taste. The result is the gorgeous bike you see here. The full story is the featured bike on ducatimonsters.org. Check it out.

An otherwise uneventful ride? Hahahaha. That’s a wee understatement! But he sure did end up with a beautiful and unique bike!

I think it’s a waste of the world nicest bike… taking half of its beautiful design away to put an ugly head light on it, no offense put u could do the same thing with a DUCATI SS because their are only 2000 of these bikes in the WORLD and to do “that”?!
