Is this the 2nd time in Ducatis history that they have manufactured a 4 cylinder for the street ?

there was the apollo, a prototype from the 60’s. couldn’t build it, because no tyre would take the weight and torque. word has it that it was a cruiser/standard built for highway patrol work, no sporting pretentions beyond having stupid levels of horsepower (kinda like a v-max)

are these photos from the press area? I can’t find any new shots, and I didn’t see these when it was first launched… can you divulge your sources on this one? I’d like some more detail shots, esp of a bodywork-free bike…

The top section of this bike looks an awful lot like a Britten to me. The tank into the upper fairing especially so. The tail section has some similarities, but I’m sure many of this class of bike would. JMHO

pictures of the frame would be great….what is going on with the triple trees and the steering head of the frame? It looks like there is some type of an offset.

looks like the variable rake steering head ducati uses. more interesting, the headstock looks as if it may be bolted in – something I would like to try in the supermono project if I decide to go all unconventional…
