If you were looking at the new Ducati 1098 and thought it was a little out of your price range, you might be able to pick one up for $25, … if you’re lucky. If you’re not quite so lucky, you still gave to a good cause.
Press release follows:
Eastern Cycle DUCATI of Beverly, Massachusetts has contributed a 2007, 1098 DUCATI Motorcycle to the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline Massachusetts. The 1098 DUCATI Superbike will be raffled for $25 per ticket or five tickets for $100 with all proceeds benefiting the non-profit Museum. The drawing for the 1098 DUCATI will be held August 5, 2007 during the TUTTO ITALIANO, Italian Car and Motorcycle event held on the Museum’s grounds. Raffle tickets can be purchased directly by visiting Eastern Cycle DUCATI or at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum.
All proceeds will benefit the Larz Anderson Auto Museum that has served New England for fifty years as a non-profit educational center in a beautiful park-like setting capturing panoramic views of Boston from the former Gilded Age estate’s terraces. The Museum is recognized world wide for its lawn events, lectures by renowned designers, engineers, and racers, and for exhibiting America’s oldest automobile collection within its preserved carriage house built in 1888.

What a great way to raise funds. 25 for a superbike, and if you don’t win you still get to go home feeling good. I like it.
