By now, most of you have seen the Smartuki, the GSXR1000 powered Smart car previously owned by Peter Bee and designed and built at Z Cars. That amazing little 180hp rocket was quite the car. If you've followed things here, you also know the Smartuki was up for sale and has since been sold. At the present time, the original Smartuki has gone to Sweden and is being used as part … [Read more...]
Hayabusa V8 for the DP1
It's been a while since doing any updates on Dennis Palatov's DP1 project so I thought I would stop by and see what's up. Wow. If you're not familiar with the DP1, it's a track car designed and built by Dennis Palatov with a carbon fiber body and a Suzuki Hayabusa engine. Extremely high end design work and engineering involved here, and he's going to produce them for sale, too. … [Read more...]

For those of you who wonder why I spend so much time … [Read more...]
Norton Shrike 3 wheeler

He drove this as a daily driver for several years until the original Yamaha 650 Maxim engine blew. It was restored recently but this … [Read more...]
Triking Cyclecars – Morgan 3 wheeler replicas
If you like the idea of motorcycle engine powered cars like we do, the older variants are fascinating. The old Morgan 3 wheelers were very cool looking and there was a company in England, Triking Cyclecars, building kits with a Moto Guzzi engine. They had both kit and preassembled models available. There were also a few photos that look like they rebuilt some of the originals, … [Read more...]
