With all of this nasty weather going on, tornadoes and flooding rivers here in the USA, earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanoes elsewhere, most of us keep hoping it will pass right on by, but sometimes it doesn’t. Our cold and very wet Spring saturating the ground put some water in places it shouldn’t be. I’m a bit busy with things offline, but I’ll be back as soon as possible after cleaning up and getting things back in order.
I’m still here checking regularly, making sure things are running smoothly but it may be a day or two before I can get back to regular updates. In the meantime, check out the archives, there’s some great stuff to keep you entertained. Back shortly.

Yes, with all the horrible news I am reminded of the put-things-in-perspective advice from an older friend, every day we are on the right side of the grass is a day to be grateful for what you have.

The best to you Paul from the “wet” coast of Canada. We have our share of fires and floods but, thankfully, not tornadoes.
I do hope your problems are relatively minor ….

Good luck from France 2, end of May and I have gotten a almost a years worth of riding in already, 3 months of almost perfect weather every single day. An 88° cloudless day today, though it looks like this year will be a major and catastrophic drought so we all have weather related issues to deal with.
Papasan says
The very best of luck!
Wish I was close by to give a helping hand…
Raining again here in Oakland, California, isn’t it almost June!

Thanks, guys. Made a lot of progress yesterday, but still lots to do, feeling all of those non-keyboard muscles today. Like anything else, you just do it and keep doing it until you’re done. Later.

The weather is bad all over the over the world this year .Off from London to Namibia, Botswana & Zambia tonight. They have just had the worst floods in 40 years. The roads in the Caprivi Strip up by the Angolan border are passable now. Botswana is a bit rougher down in the Okavango, An adventure awaits.

Best ‘o luck from Chicago, Paul! As one who has suffered a flooded basement more than once, I can relate. Keep everything of value well off the floor. We’ve had the coolest spring on record and LOTS of rain. No more than 50 degrees today (in late May!) Too chilly to get the Beeza out yet!
Speedwagon says
Good luck from Arizona!
Paulinator says
Good luck from Florida. Livin on a boat – its a real bummer when the basement leaks.

Hey Paul,
Keep ya chin up and a smile on your face. We went through something similiar with the floods and mini cyclones down here in Oztralia just recently, so our thoughts are with you.

G’luck from Huntsville, AL (what’s left of it). My motorcycle mechanic’s house was destroyed in the recent tornados up here, only a half mile from my house… got hit by a mile wide tornado. The whole experience has been a real pants loosener for everyone around here.
Luc Gagnon says
I hear you and wish you luck and keep courageous, our thoughts are with you.
Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider" says
The water problems we had were one of those things you only find out about when it won’t quit raining for weeks, but, on the bright side, we found them and fixed them … I think. When your house has a basement, you find out how ingenious water can be finding ways in. The work isn’t over but it will be in the background instead of taking up all of my time. A bit of a mess, lots of things tossed, sore back, but the weather is nice, the sun is out and we’re about to get rolling again. Now, … where was I?
Adrian says
Good luck from down under!
We’ve had all kinds of floods here in Australia this year, makes a change from the drought though!
Susokary says
