If you are putting your motorcycle away for an extended period, you'll want to be sure it's protected with one of these fine covers. There are a few other things you'll want to do as well:

1.Drain the carbs
2.Fill the gas tank and add a fuel stabilizer
3.Change the oil and filter
4.Clean and wax it
Inflate the tires to the correct pressure
5.Use the centerstand to raise the rear tire or a motorcycle stand if your bike doesn't have a centerstand
6.If you have a stand for the front of your bike, lift the front tire, too.
7.Keep the battery charged with a Battery Tender
