South Carolina Requiring 3 Wheel Certification

19 June 2008

It looks like South Carolina is now requiring a separate 3 wheeler certification if you’re going to be riding a trike or sidecar outfit. Previously a waiver was issued to allow 3 wheel operation, the waivers have been eliminated.
Anyone wanting to drive a three-wheeled motorcycle needs either a C Endorsement allowing them to drive all [...]

Boss Hoss is coming out with the Advantage Trike for the wheelchair bound individual who has the desire to ride one of their big V8 powered trikes. A wheelchair lift is hidden in the rear of the trike and all controls are hand operated.

Stealth Tryke From Lehigh Valley Choppers

3 June 2008

About a year ago, I got an email from Joe Totenbier of Lehigh Valley Choppers telling me about a new trike he was building. He had some early build photos but it was incomplete and it was hard to tell exactly what the finished product would look like. The one thing I could tell from [...]

Honda Powered Twisted Trike

28 May 2008

Blackjack Zero - Moto Guzzi Powered 3 Wheeler

29 April 2008

They’ve just come out with a version powered by a Moto Guzzi V-Twin which, to my eye, looks better and fits in the tradition of the old Morgan 3 wheelers. Although they have some [...]

Ridley Automatic Trike

10 April 2008

There are a lot of trike conversions and kits available for almost every motorcycle out there but Ridley, the company that makes a line of automatic transmission motorcycles with slightly smaller dimensions, is now producing the Auto-Glide Trike as one of their 2008 models.
Like their other motorcycles, the trike has a CVT transmission so [...]

Rotohak - 325hp Twin Turbo Rotary Engine Sidecar

12 February 2008

What it looks like is a nicely done BMW sidecar rig, what it is, is a beautifully crafted, 325 horsepower twin turbo rotary engine powered sleeper, ready to embarrass the unwary. Of course the wheelie bar might give you a hint. Rotohak, the creation of builder Bob Pelikan, is subtle and deceptive, that valve cover [...]
