That was a hellava deal for those that got in on it. I go through at least one tire a year due to road hazard. Lucky me two new rear tires this year do to junk on the road. Live off the land and everything! True it is another way to make money. That's what good companies do in a down economy. For those of us that don't like to deal with things ourselves if that means sitting along the freeway with tire tools and our balancing machine, then its a value-added service. I have a friend with a FXBD 2007 that has cashed in 3 times. Twice at Sturgis. He's the poster child around here! If you don't want in the program, don't! If it sounds like it would give you peace of mind then buy in! Unlike the health care debate, you have a choice! Wow Steve, you’re quite the man. Live off the land and everything! Most of the people you see riding around can't change their oil or adjust a clutch so what do you do if you have a flat. However if you are a HOG member then you are at least offered pickup and towing so at that point one would only be picking up the tire repair IF they have a problem. I don't belong to any of this so i just deal with things myself. I am quite sure this will be popular with the insecure or the program would never be expanded. Wow.
