Ducati is offering a Full Factory Support program for all new and previously unregistered 2008 and 2009 Ducati models purchased from June 4, 2009 to August 31, 2009 at participating dealerships. This means the first two services, as detailed in the owner's manual, are provided at zero cost. If you've been sitting on the edge waiting to buy, this is one more reason to get over to your local dealer and make a decision.
The two services take place within the first year and if you reach 7500 miles in the first year, you also get Service A (valve inspection) with your 2nd service. Not a bad deal.
This offer is only good until August 31st so don't wait too long if you're considering putting a new a Ducati in your garage.

be sure to test ride them first. I didn’t like the Streetfighter much at all after a recent test ride. The (1999) 750SS that I also test rode felt like a much better sorted bike.

OOH cool. So… i have a 2006… and im just boned.
Clive, it’s no different than any other factory incentives to get new buyers to act now instead of waiting.
Thankfully I haven’t had any probs with my ‘01 SS750ie, and I’ve been taking care of my own basic maintenance. It’s an air/oil cooled 2valve v-twin and, aside from the desmo valve actuation, it’s a pretty basic design and not too difficult to work on.
That said, the nearest factory dealer is over 2 hours away from me. I’m not planning on getting a new Duc anytime soon, but this does have to really help one feel better about the purchase of a new one, particularly the first time Ducati buyer… if they have a participating dealer nearby.
what the heck Triumph, step up
