FYI, Swift via Jerry Moyes the owner did purchase parts of Excelsior-Henderson in the early 2000s, primarily parts, accessories, assembly line, old and new motorcycles, etc...Swift never purchased nor had rights to any intellectual property (i.e. patents, trademarks, etc...) In the 2002-2010 time frame, they subsequently sold either in bulk or individually anything they had related to Excelsior-Henderson, however the Moyes family appears to have retained some of the old collectible museum bikes that EH owned at one time.

It's a shame as Swift had a really nice bike but the custom market is in the tank. These companies are about 3 years late but they should have been doing a custom bagger with the wide rear and a 21 front and the better than HD engine like they used in thier other bikes. It would cost no more that thier other customs but would attract a different crowd.

I'll buy it. really can't make a down payment though, but when business starts rolling I will make small payments. Don't know if that qualifies me as a doer....

Isn't Swift the entity that bought all the Excelsior-Henderson factory parts, tooling and IP?
