I test rode an Ultra Classic at Adamec H-D in Jacksonville,FL. after getting the offer in the mail.Never got my gas card.It is a sad day in the biker community, when H-D has to screw people into riding thier bikes. Ed

I love the song they used in the new Super Ride commercial ('52 Ford by Murder By Death)...really captures the Harley allure. I've got a video of this commercial posted here : http://displacedbrett.wordpress.com/2009/04/07/the-soundtrack-to-a-harley-davidson-super-ride/

i test rode a buell 1125CR at Big Sky Harley here in Great Falls, MT a few weeks ago. It was a very easy process. No pressure. I went into the store and found a salesman. I asked if I could demo the bike, he asked me if I had my motorcycle endorsement and how long I'd been riding for. he made a copy of my license, i signed a "you break it, you buy it" agreement. then he took the bike down the road to get the tires warmed up, brought it back, gave me a helmet and said "Have fun." That's it.

Larry, I think your experience may be an individual dealer issue more than Harley service in general.

Aaron, "find a dealer" opens a popup window, does your browser allow that?

Steve, demo ride policies vary widely among dealers and brands. Harley decided to get everyone on board, which is a good thing in the current business climate, it gets past that hurdle and shoppers are more likely to concentrate on buying decisions rather than complaining about not being able to test ride.
