Every new model by Pere Tarragó is an absolute work of art, the meticulous attention to detail, the appearance of not being a model at all, but a real motorcycle, somehow magically shrunken to model proportions. His latest work, shown here, is a BMW R32. He sent a series of photos documenting the entire construction process which is truly amazing.

Pere says this 1/5 scale model was constructed over a period of 100 days working 6 hours per day. He constructed the frame in steel tubing, he made his own molds and cast the engine in aluminum, the levers and pedals all work, the brake shoes work, the suspension, the clutch and transmission, everything functions like the full size motorcycle.

Amazing craftsmanship from a master. He's done a series of models, some we've covered before, but you really should check out his website and see his other work. Very, very nice.

Good eyes, nimble fingers, dedication & discipline. Fantastic construction process details. Just waiting for a 1:5 rider to get on, kick it over & ride off. Incredible motorcycles Pere!

Thanx for the pics & links, Paul & Pere!

I dont believe a word of it! Thats a real bike. Are you expecting us to fall for that…on April Fools Day!

Oh, if only I had 1/10 of the skill this man has. Absolutely fantastic!

This is excellent.

I also like the photography – the surrounding landscape emphasizes the exactness of a real bike. You almost need another picture with the same landscape, but with what would appear to be the boot of Jolly Green Giant next to the bike.
