If you visited The Kneeslider on Saturday using Internet Explorer, you may have had an error appear on your screen. This was happening all over the Internet to many thousands of websites using Sitemeter to track visitor count. They have since fixed their problem and everything is back to normal.
I would have dealt with the issue, had I known about it, by removing Sitemeter until they fixed the problem, but my DSL connection went down when a street crew dug up a phone cable.
Fun stuff, but we're back, ... now, where was I?

“If you visited The Kneeslider on Saturday using Internet Explorer…”
I doubt anyone noticed, as I think everyone’s using Firefox or Opera by now.
The one site’s statistics I have access to says:
MSIE: 40%
Mozilla: 34%
Netscape: 13%
Opera: 2%
I left out a few tiny ones and rounded the above up. How that compares to this site, well, I do not know.
The stats for operating systems is both interesting and inversely proportional to the amount of noise generated by their users.
I couldn’t get on, so I went for a ride instead.
Yeah, sooo .. i think you were talking about a bike? ring any bells?
“The stats for operating systems is both interesting and inversely proportional to the amount of noise generated by their users.”

I also use Sitemeter on a couple of pages. It didn’t give me this problem, though…
