Leave it to the French to come up with helmets that look this good, I mean, these really appear to be extremely nice. If you're riding a sportbike, they won't replace a good full face helmet but they certainly will do the job if you're on a vintage ride or maybe a scooter. Jérôme Coste, (who managed to bang his head 6 times before getting interested in helmets!) is the man behind these carbon fiber beauties with claret colored lambskin liners, chrome edge trim and a level of finish you won't often see. The paint schemes vary from retro designs to classic solids but they all manage to look pretty exotic. It seems he offers silk scarves, too, which would complete the look as you ride your vintage cafe racer.

The price seems to be somewhere north of 500 Euros, that's $750+ ... interesting. More photos and links below:

I *love* the clear-coated carbon-fiber one. The stripes aren’t really my thing but those helmets look very classy.

That reminds me that I need to get a leather aviator helmet and some old-school glass-and-leather aviator goggles (and a scarf, of course!) for work…the passengers will love it when I show up to fly them on Halloween in that getup.

Great stuff …. reminds me of my old Snell that I wore in the 50′s.

Nice quality, but too high at $750.USD. I wonder how much they want for the scarves;the checkered one would be sharp looking while I’m riding my Thruxton.

I love these helmets in theory. Beautiful workmanship.

Practically speaking, I think they’re for posers.

I would love to see a full face helmet that looks like this.

Still, they are amazing.

nicely done but pricey. Basically what your Dior and Gucci clad scooter rider is wearing.

Bell are apparently going to reproduce their early half face helmets: I’d be keener for one of those or a Davida or even a cromwell. Having said that I think I’d still just use it as a decoration, not to ride in. I’m too pretty to not wear a fullface!

Yeah … I remember well the feel of a helmet like that trying to fly off my head.

Although one did probably save my life when a car punted me into a utility pole back in 69 ………….. Que the sound of my rocking chair !
