The Kneeslider Keeps On Growing and Growing

in Kneeslider

The KneesliderIn the past few days we've had quite a few new visitors stopping by from Wired Magazine (Thanks, guys!), Hackaday and Digg plus recent links from Autoblog and many others. It's nice to see all of those fresh faces checking out The Kneeslider. If you're new here, make sure you look around a bit, there's a lot to see. If you're a regular, you might find you're bumping elbows now and then as the place gets a little more crowded, but not to worry, I'm keeping my eye on the engine room to make sure everything keeps running smooth.

Last fall, I thought it was pretty cool when we started averaging over 10,000 visitors every day, but things are moving a lot faster now and that average is well over 20,000 with some days over 30,000 and some well beyond that. As more people discover motorcycles, who knows what another year will bring?

We'll try to keep you informed about the slightly more technical side of motorcycles as well as vintage rides, new technology, motorcycle business news and anything that just seems interesting or cool for one reason or another. As always, if you see something you think would fit in here, let us know, just use the contact form to give us a few details and maybe we'll write it up. We're always on the lookout for something new.

Thanks, everyone for coming by and as I've said before, I'll do my best to keep The Kneeslider an interesting place so you'll want to come back. Thanks, again.

im at least 1/10th of that 30,000. I visit several times a day (yes i have a job and no they dont appreciate it). I love this site. My co-workers love it too, because it keeps me from babbling to them about motorcycles.

Actually Clive, you’re only counted once, even if you come back 20 times in one day, although I really appreciate your efforts at raising the count! ;-)

You definitely deserve the traffic. theKneeslider.com is the best motorcycle site on the net right now imho.

Keep up the great work!

That’s because I’ve been wearing my trend setting Kneeslider shirt when I’m traveling about the real world!

Great site! Keep up the good work!

first stop, every workday morning, thekneeslider.com. There’s a good reason why your popularity is growing, it’s because there is always so much information and lots of crazy things out there to discover. I particularly enjoy the balanced view you take on most issues, its refreshing to know that there are people out there who still know how to engage their brain before talking/writing.

Since the first time I visited your site, The Kneeslider has been at the very top of my bookmarks list. My wife calls it “That bike porn site”. High praise indeed.

Thank you guys for a top quality site.

You’re doing a good job, Paul. Keeping archive material easily available as you do is a real benefit. A good story from last month or last year is still great stuff, and those new visitors have a lot of catching up to do. They’ll love it. And your correspondents are top notch. ;^)

You do a wonderful jub. Unbiased and honest opinions and information. Keep up the good work.

My only problem with the site is that it there isn’t new post for as often as I check it out. On say, Autoblog there’s as many as 10-20 posts per day. But hey when you guy do post it’s usually well worth it.

keep on keepin’ on, Paul !

congrats on your traffic, this is a really great bike site, I look every morning! you’ve definitely got the best archives out there!

I would just like to say that I love the site. I discovered it while deployed overseas. (USAF) I’m on the site at least daily and spend my days off searching through the archives. I miss being able to ride my Harley so I do what I can and stay up to date on the goings on of the motorcycle world. Again the site is great and I’m sure everyone else will agree that it is greatly appreciated.

Did someone mention Kneeslider T-Shirts?
Where can we get one?

chris 07.17.08 at 11:23 am

I’m a proud kneeslidite.

Andy, yes, a few Kneeslider shirts have escaped into the wild as part of our super secret pre-market test program. Once everything is in place, you’ll be able to order your own, T-shirts, polo shirts, the whole shebang. And these are quality items, too, no junk. Stay tuned!

The only thing I’d like to see added is a little dirt bike coverage. Surely there’s something out there worthy of a post or two!
