What is it with the current trend of having all that clearance between the rear tire and the fender? Are there that many people using these bikes for jumping buses and need all that wheel travel?

Sorry, I think it just ugly.

Given the current trend of bike design with every possible mechanical device on the bike hidden behind a plastic aero shell I am glad that there are vintage bikes available that show off cylinder heads, carbs and exhaust systems. Mechanical devices are much more exciting and beatiful to me than another cookie cutter, bullet shaped, wannabe rocket ship.

I think its a good looking bike myself, but I'll have to keep day dreamin bout it to, way out of my league. But if you think about if word got out to the right people, I mean I know average Harley guys that have 30-40 grand tied up in there bikes, and the main reason they say they only buy Harley is because its American made and not Jap. I myself enjoy my Jap ride but would def. consider this if I had the money.
