Will Kenefick, of RetroSBK, builds some really high quality, low volume superbike specials. It looks like he was the one tapped to build the bikes for the upcoming Transformers 2 movie coming out next year.
We mentioned the leaked call sheet last week that speculated on a Buell Firebolt being used but Kenefick is giving nothing away as far as what kind of bikes were involved. What he does say is that he got the contract to build 6 bikes in 3 weeks, that's between him and one full time employee, which means lots of building and little sleeping, but he got the job done. I guess we'll have to wait for the movie to see how all of those sleepless nights turned out.

Wow, building 6 fully functioning, transformable motorcycles in 3 weeks is a tremendous task. Hats off all around. -Or was it just painting them pink and installing the exhaust and brake rotors on the opposite side?
