Those few are the minority, so they usually have to say something shocking to get attention. And I've found, it usually comes from the people who do work similar to what your displaying, or want to. I say, putting any project out there before it's finished, whether it's perfect or not, takes guts and you are to be commended for sharing your work. Keep it up.
