Harley Davidson VR1000 for sale
February 2nd, 2008 by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider"
There’s a Harley Davidson VR1000 for sale on eBay, something you don’t see very often. Harley built 50 of these for homologation requirements to run in AMA Superbike. The VR1000 also has the very cool Jekyll and Hyde orange and black paint job on opposite sides which I think is pretty neat. If you like Harley Davidson history and you’re looking for something to park next to your Buell XBRR, this is the ticket.

*sigh*
Too bad Harley only did this as a homologation special. I’m assuming it’s at least as good as your typical Ducati homologation special, which might be a flawed assumption…anyone have any magazine reviews of this thing they can show us?

These things sounded so cool going around Laguna Seca! Duhamel and Chandler both had their shots riding them, and Pascal Picotte rode it best. I’d be all over this thing if I had the disposable cash. Although now that I think about it I might be more inclined to get a 1098R or maybe even a Desmosedici for a few thousand more…

Nice bike, and I would love to own it. But at that price, I could fill my garage with a lot of other bikes

Found this Miguel Duhamel - Harley VR1000 art, titled “Miguel DuHarley”… pretty cool. I like the black side of the bike better than the orange.
Can’t add link (spam filter?) but maybe you can search the title.
