Today I am extremely pleased to be introducing something new on The Kneeslider, our first guest contributor. The Kneeslider has been here for over 3 years now and some of our regular readers, especially our commenters, have shown they know quite a bit about motorcycles, the technical details, the history and sometimes the obscure motorcycle few have seen or remember.

Since everyone together knows more than anyone alone, I’ll gradually add a few more writers to our group and see how it goes. If you think you might like to be an occasional writer on The Kneeslider, go to the contact form and send a short note about yourself and tell me what you might like to write about. I’ll take a look and try a few of those interested to see how it works. Hint: You really need to know something about motorcycles, the more the better and it helps if you’re the kind of person who occasionally gets his/her hands dirty.

Besides bringing new points of view to The Kneeslider, it also gives me a chance to concentrate on a few projects I’m trying to get off the ground which I think everyone will enjoy, if I can just focus on them for a bit.

Today, our first contributor is Doug Staab who has been a regular reader and commenter here for a couple of years. Doug was wondering about the Honda NAS, one of Honda’s concept motorcycles from a few years back. Very interesting, especially since Honda just introduced a few concepts for the Tokyo Motor Show that look production ready.
