VholdR Wearable Helmet Camcorder from Twenty20
September 19th, 2007 by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider"
Everything high tech changes really fast and helmet cameras are no different. It looks like Twenty20 is coming out with a new camcorder, the VholdR, that is small, self contained and wearable. It weighs 4.8 oz and is only 95mm by 53mm by 34mm. No cables or separate equipment, everything is contained in the unit itself. You charge the battery, shoot your TV quality video and upload to your computer.
Record those rides through the twisties, your track day experience or anything else, then share it with everyone.
You can pre order now. Price is $350.

Wow, I thought twenty20’s old camera was neat but then they went and made it better.
Oh, Santa…

I will withhold judgment until they show something other than just renderings. Just like many other “amazing” products, it may be to good to be true.
I would not pre-order a product that did not yet really exist.
Buyer beware.

Resolution will be 640×480. That’s VGA, folks! Will even look shitty on your old 32″ Cathode Ray…

VGA? Dang, guess I’ll wait until they go HD.
