Steampunk Trike by Zeel Design for sale
September 7th, 2007 by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider"
We wrote about this very steampunk looking Bobster trike several months ago and now it’s for sale. You can almost imagine the steam era Victorian environment this trike would fit right into but it’s actually very modern and built to very high standards, in fact, it was completely designed on a computer before any metal was cut.
Powered by a 1200cc Sportster engine it has a 26 inch!! front wheel, custom everything, copper plating and just looks extremely cool. The designer / builders are former engineers from Bombardier so this is no slap it together and see what happens crew. This trike was in a Discovery Channel build off and won.
The bidding starts at $50,000 so dig deep if you want to ride this one.

I think for $50,000 they can put a real steam engine in it. I mean, if you’re going to drop 50 large on a fairly impractical toy, you might as well go whole-hog on the impracticality front.
Still a gorgeous machine, though.
