Roger Goldammer has built another stunning piece, this time it's called Nortorious. Based on a featherbed style frame, Roger used a much modified, supercharged, single cylinder Harley Davidson engine like the one first seen on Trouble. The single front cylinder displaces 965cc and uses the rear head. A Rotex supercharger is mounted in place of the rear cylinder.
Loads of custom work is everywhere, all of the wiring and hydraulic lines run inside the frame with nothing visible anywhere. The wheels, which look like the old style wires with drum brakes, actually have disc brakes hidden inside.
Roger has been turning out fantastic work year after year which probably has something to do with those world championship wins. Nice.
Thanks for the tip, Andy!
UPDATE: Nortorious placed 9th in the 2007 AMD World Championship Of Custom Bike Building

What a cool looking bike, I love what he’s doing with these motors. Does anybody have any performance numbers on these things. That would be a cool set up to run in the singles class, imagine the torque this thing is making.
damn. I just came to the site to tip the kneeslider off about this bike. andy even gave the same link I had cut and was ready to paste!
oh, btw – no paint on this thing except for the tank logos and numbers. that’s all bare metal! man…all the work involved in forming metal like that blows my mind – and doing it that cleanly must triple the skill required and the time invested…
great front fender (plus all sorts of stuff)
Paul – you’re working overtime. Good stuff, man.
The engine work is awesome, but how is he keeping the vibes in check? 965 cc is big for a single.
Must sound like a tractor engine…
That is just insanely cool. Though I’d prefer to see the brake discs…it’s still about the coolest Harley-based thing I’ve seen yet, and with decent frame geometry to boot!
nice work. The vibes may not be too bad since it doesn’t need to spin that fast with a supercharger. I would be more worried about the location of the upper shock bolts bending that tube right in half… looks like it already started.
What’s with the ugly headlight though?

Neat !
The Headlight is from a new style Mini. Not my first choice either – but still cool.
i like the headlight for this bike
The headlight is really out of sorts with the bike, but I kind of like it.
anybody know if he’s selling those engines?
What a beauty. I like the headlight. Discovery channel needs to give the Teutels a miss and spotlight guys who do bikes like this. Now that’s a bike that makes me proud to be an American!
Goldammer has been my favorite builder for awhile, if I ha the $ I would commission a Trouble replica in a minute! Also his red BTR#3 boardtracker was equally insane. As I watched the biker build off when he built that Honda CR based bike, I realized that he is on such a different level of thinking than all the others.
Like his work or not, got to admit Goldammer thinks outside the box. BTW, the name of the bike looks to be “Nortorious” not “Notorious”.
You know what? You’re right. I better fix that.
Things I like: the amazing engine, the cool frame geometry and the hidden wiring. This I don’t like: The tail piece and the headlight. Whatever happened to body parts melding together, and making one cohesive whole?
hey, rob!
that’s a bike that makes me proud to be a Canadian!
One big continent, eh? Cool. (Canada builds some of my favorite handguns too!)
Whats next , 2-stroke v-twin powered dirt drack racers ?
