14 June 2007

Sometimes you don’t know what to believe but this story has popped up almost everywhere in the past few days, which means very little on the Internet, of course, but according to the reports, “Ducati Motor Holding … would consider a merger with US-based Harley-Davidson “anytime”, said Enrico D’Onofrio, CFO.”
If you read the reports carefully, [...]

These motorcycle half tracks were produced by NSU in the second world war and could be carried in Ju-52 aircraft and were used for such things as pulling small artillery pieces in the field. We covered these before but the last one [...]

11 June 2007

In The Kneeslider’s carefully catalogued haphazardly strewn collection of hundreds of back issues of motorcycle magazines, lies a treasure trove of information. Many of those mags have post-it notes sticking out from the pages with a small note about some interesting content on a particular topic, something I thought might be worth investigating in more [...]

Alfabike Follow Up

9 June 2007

After we featured the Alfabike a few days ago, some comments said it looked like it would be tough to kick start. One comment by sweetlemonaid provided a link to some photos of the bike during the build and there’s also a link on the site to a video showing the builder, Chris Barber, kick [...]

Harley Davidson ATV

9 June 2007

What do you do with a Harley Davidson you purchased from New Orleans after the flood? Well, since it probably already saw some water and mud, why not just go all out and get it ready for full time use in those same conditions and turn your Harley into an ATV?
This started out as a [...]
