While the Street Triple is an awesome bike, it's reliability issues leave me red faced in front of the Jap riders.... again. Takes two weeks for parts to come from the UK.... that leaves me needing a RELIABLE bike to get to work every day. The linkage bolt between the foot shifter and the connecting rod came undone twice, then plain broke. This was lucky, because I have no idea how long it would have taken Triumph to let me know that my rear suspension could fail at any moment! TWO WEEKS later, long after my suspension arrived... the magical bolt finally arrives. All this in less than 3k miles leaves me worrying how reliable my canyon scalpel actually is. Other than the reliability issue.... it is an awesome bike!

I just traded my SV650s for a street triple. There is NO comparison between the two. Street Triple has bags more performance, feels lighter, is more "revvy" and better brakes and MORE comfortable for me at 5'6.

OK my SV was nearly 3 years old but the demo ST3 had done nearly as many miles as my bike thanks to the hot demand since the bike arrived at the dealer.

I had to wait in line for a chance to ride it but it really was worth the wait. I couldn't stop smiling the whole ride!

Looks lean, skinny but muscular. There's a couple guys with nicely massaged 675's putting out 140hp to the tarmac, the possibilities are intriguing.

I'm slightly underwhelmed by the design. I saw a Speed Triple in Performance Bikes a while ago that had a single headlight that looked much better.
