Indian Motorcycles website

Indian Motorcycles moved to North Carolina last year in preparation for restarting production of the Indian Motorcycle. They just launched their new website which gives a pretty good run down of where things stand.

According to their site, they plan to start production of 2008 Indian Chief in the fourth quarter of 2007. Engine for the bike will be the PowerPlus 100. Production will be limited though you can reserve one of the first bikes with a $1000 deposit.

The site includes dealer signup information, employment opportunities and a store with Indian logo merchandise. If you're interested in the rebirth of the Indian marque, check it out.

Any changes with the new Chief appearance? Are there any pictures? What’s the total cost of this beast?

I would like to request a brochure for the 2008 Indian Motorcycle as well as dealer locations. I have a Harley Davidson which I like a lot, but am very interested in the Indian and hope it stays on the market for a long time.

Thank you,
Tracy Watkins
