MitJet motorcycle powered race carScaled cars powered by motorcycle engines are popular in a number of countries, the MitJet series runs over in France and Spain. These cars are small versions of Dodge Vipers, Porsche 911s and a few other sports models and, like the Pro Challenge, Baby Grand and Legends race series cars over here, these can deliver full size performance.

The MitJet cars use a Yamaha XJR1300 engine with around 150 horsepower with 0-60 in 3.6 seconds and top speeds of 130 mph. Price is $33,000 dollars, which seems a bit on the high side to me, but these look pretty cool.

Now, what would be even better is when someone takes one that's retired from the racing circuit and converts it to street use like this Legends racer. Imagine pulling up next to someone at a light with one of these little squirts and then promptly showing him your taillights. Neat.
