Choppers are not our specialty here but this Ferrari inspired Schumacher Tribute Chopper is a bit different. It's powered by a Triumph 955 triple which is fully enclosed by the Ferrari F1 style bodywork.
It's for sale over on ebay and they have a video showing it running around a bit. The music drowns out the sound of the bike, but what you do hear isn't your normal chopper sound and it would probably run away from most choppers in a straight line, but I think I would slow way down for the turns. No F1 handling here! Different and interesting in its own way.

Seems the natural choice would have been a Ducati engine. If he was going to use a Triumph engine why not install the image of a Lotus or Aston Martin sports car….the guy just seems confused. Interesting idea, questionable execution

I luv it! Put Maclaren livery on it and I luv it even more! I assume the Triumph triple wet in because the builder had one lying around and it was narrower than an in-line 4 cylinder. Did it go into a stock big twin designed frame that was modified? Who is the builder?
It’s neat lookin’, but yesterday’s triples were both a little cooler.
It is a Triumph, after all, shouldn’t it be in Slippery Sam livery?
Normal chopper sound, what’s that? Depends on what engine you put in it doesn’t it. People have been using cb750 engines in choppers since the 70’s, which is an inline four. Parallel twins like the triumph has also always been popular, and then of course there’s the various v-twins. They all sound very different from each other, but have been used in choppers for ages.

actually, I think the triumph engine suits the concept perfectly – unless they used a cbx motor, nothing sounds closer to a V12 than a triple. (yes, I know it’s been around 10 years since ferrari used a v12 in an F1 car. but they would if they could within the F1 rule structure)
what confuses me is the look of it. a modern F1 car has an incredible complexity of curves, while this thing is nearly as slab sided as an 86 GSXR. the extreme front end isn’t even trendy among choppers anymore, and sportier geometry would not only suit the appearence but improve handling as well.
Maybe he should have used a Hayabusa V8, since F1 uses V8s.
