at the time, I thought it was a great idea for mix &#039;n matches, as the models are usually quite accurate and detailed.  cheaper to hack apart, too....</description>

		<description>Actually Aaron, what you saw was a mock-up. He first made a mock-up for the Ducati design contest and after he won decided to built it. Seems making it in scale is a good way to see if it can work;-)</description>

I remember when this was featured in the ducati design contest.  the ducati website is pretty crappy for pictures if the feature is not on a new product of theirs, so it was hard to see the details on this bike.  for some reason, until this post, I thought the winner was a mock-up and not a real bike.  looking at the provided picture, I was convinced that someone had mutilated and jammed together parts from several plastic ducati models to demonstrate their vision....

I&#039;m glad to see it&#039;s a rideable machine, and that it is longer than 12 inches...</description>
