MotoCzysz Laguna Seca Photos

August 25th, 2006 by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider"

MotoCzysz at Laguna Seca

Some photos from Laguna Seca came my way yesterday, forwarded by a good friend of mine, and among them were these two showing the new MotoCzysz. I had not seen a clear shot of the bike without bodywork covering the engine so this one stood out. It gives you a good idea of the size and angle of the installation. The second photo below, shows the twin exhaust exiting the bodywork on either side. Just another look at the bike, thought you might enjoy seeing them.

Thanks for the photos, Peter!

I like it better without the fairing. Would make a sweat street fighter. Is he planning to make a street version?

  2. Tom Says:

How about picture of Mario Illien’s new motogp machine?

  3. Gerhard Says:

Absolutely georgeous! And right on too, it would make a sweet streetfighter/naked road bike. Bloody genius. I hope MotoCzysz receives a lot of public support, ‘cos it’s high time someone was a little creative again.

  4. Zac Says:

What really strikes me about the naked pic is how centralized the mass is, you don’t see anything unnecessary mounted behind the motor.

  5. coho Says:

    That is a bad mota-scoota.
I really hope Czysz can pull it off.

sweet. any chance you could shoot some larger photos our way? I don’t have many photos of it naked either. wish the exhausts were intact for the naked photo, that 4 into 4 is badass!

  7. hoyt Says:

you guys are all high — this is not gonna work

I’ll look for the naked photos from the Cycleworld Show a couple of years ago & send them the Kneeslider’s way…see the differences

  8. Gordy Says:

Although I’m not a big Czysz fan, I think they have doon a really good job on the aesthetics.

  9. Tom Says:

A little disappointing that a little over a month ago, the engineers were all excited that the engine actually runs. Weren’t they supposed to be racing Moto-GP by now?

Do they have enough capital to just keep playing with nothing to show for it?

  10. Tom Says:

Mario Illiens motogp bike has been test ridden by Garry McCoy last week. They’ve built 2 bikes and 5 engines. It’s a V-4 fairly conventional, but has pnuematic valve gear ala F-1.I’d bet it’s on a podium before the motoczysz makes it to a motogp grid.
