Roland Sands KRV5 Tracker V5 Powered Custom
July 21st, 2006 by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider"![]()
About a month ago we mentioned two different press releases concerning the bike Roland Sands would have at Goodwood, something Harley powered or his new rumored V5. Well, it looks like the KRV5 Tracker is set to be unveiled today at Laguna Seca, a Kenny Roberts MotoGP V5 engine in a board tracker inspired custom bike.
A 200 horsepower board tracker? Photos when we get ‘em.

It was on Superbikes, but from multiple split second camera angles zooming in and out so you never really get a good look. The drawing above is accurate and you actually see more there than on the TV show. Photos from those in attendance aren’t floating around yet from what I’ve seen, and even Roland Sands isn’t showing them on his site. Probably trying to keep it undercover as much as possible while some magazines get the story out and Sands sells some related merchandise.
