Jesse Rooke's KTM powered build off bike

There's nothing like being in the right place at the right time. Looks like Billy Bartels was at Willow Springs taking photos when the bikes and crew arrived for the showdown between Roland Sands and Jesse Rooke for the competition portion of the 2006 Biker Build Off. He posted some photos which show Jesse Rooke's KTM powered machine along with some of the other goings on, like Roland Sands having a little get off from his custom bike. Ouch!

The closeup photos do show what can be accomplished in ten days and in this case it's quite a bit.

Thanks for the tip, Keith!

now all we need is to have Burt Baker manufacture a stacked transmission for the aftermarket big twin….even better — have Baker Drivetrain hook up with an aftermarket big twin engine builder and make the stacked gearbox a unit-construction piece with the bottom half of the big twin.

what is with burnouts? I wonder if that was caught on film and, if it was, will it be aired ?

How can Jesse Rooke claim to build his bikes when Todd’s Cycle do all of the fab work? Don’t get me wrong I love them but he doesn’t actually make them! This isn’t custombike building.
